Book Reviews

Insideadog

Insideadog is a project of the Centre for Youth Literature, State Library Victoria. It aims to promote reading as an active, pleasurable and essential activity for all young people. It is designed to appeal to teenagers, with the target audience 12-16 year olds. Each month features a writer-in-residence who runs the Blog. The site allows young people to read and write reviews, keep up with news and trivia about books, enter competitions, meet the writer-in-residence, preview upcoming titles, read author interviews and discuss books on the forum.

Reviews written by young people arranged into different genres. Why not submit a review yourself?

Summer Reading Club

Queensland young readers are able to go to their local library or visit the SRC website anywhere in the state to participate in the Qld Summer Reading Club. Lots of interacting reading related activities are there. Teachers are welcome to explore the website and use any of the resources as end-of-year filler activities in classrooms. Interstate visitors are welcome to join in. Register online or go to a library near you.
